What intrigues me about design?
For me, the beauty of well crafted experiences is that no matter how subtle they appear in our day to day lives, they still have the effect of positively shaping our outlook on something as simple as how nice a day felt.
Seeing that an idea from my mind can actually be shaped into something other people can also enjoy, appreciate, or use makes me feel fulfilled and honestly it's super cool! It keeps me feeling excited for what's next.
Past & Present
I grew up with the fine arts
My favorite moments and deepest sense of self has always involved the performing arts, music, and art. I learned classical piano and competed in American Classical and musical theater singing for 10 years. I also took art lessons for 8 years!
Nowadays I love watching movies, going to a concert, seeing a poster or campaign that I find clever, listening to my favorite music slowed & with reverb (try it out!!), making a themed event for friends - these moments truly makes me happy.

As I get older, I find that catching little moments of people connecting makes me feel really happy too.

What do I want to achieve?
My goal in my career as a designer is to play the behind the scenes role in the kinds of experiences that have touched me and to create work that make these moments, little and big, happen for other people.
I strive to understand and use the discipline of design and human behavior to deliver memorable, meaningful, and intentional moments.
